He graduated summa cum laude from St. Leo University with his B.A., as well as receiving the coveted “Horgan Scholarship” and the “Outstanding Pre-Law Student Award.” David then attended Stetson University College of Law (J.D., cum laude). While attending law school, David interned for U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Kovachevich, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. David is the survivor of a nearly fatal traffic accident, which motivated him to pursue a career in Injury Law so he could help others, like himself, who have been the victims of the carelessness of others. David is a member of The Florida Bar, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and the American Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association). He also serves as a volunteer athletics coach at his local YMCA. David has been a motorcycle enthusiast since he was a teenager and is a proud member of the Harley Owners Group – National (Lifetime) as well as the Florida Gulf Coast H.O.G. Chapter. David is also a member of “Los Piratas de West Tampa,” the West Tampa Motorcycle Club, and the 1st U.S. Volunteer Cavalry (The Roughriders). As a former Deputy Sheriff for Manatee County, John obtained in-depth and first-hand knowledge of the law and investigative processes related to motorcycle, pedestrian, and automobile accidents, which he uses in his law practice to this day. John is also a survivor of a serious automobile accident and this experience provided him with personal knowledge of the emotional and economic consequences resulting from sustaining career-ending injuries. John’s unique perspective drives his compassion, empathy, and dedication to fight aggressively for the needs and welfare of his clients. John is a member of The Florida Bar, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Florida Association for Justice (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers), and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association.
