Jorge obtained his B.A. from Hardin-Simmons University, M. Div. from Southwestern Seminary, Post-Bacc. from Baylor University, and his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law.For over seven years, Jorge worked as a State Criminal Defense Attorney in Pinellas County. He participated in numerous criminal trials as lead counsel (twice leading the office in Pinellas County for most trials) and handled over 3000 criminal cases. He then went to work in the private field for two well-respected law firms before opening his own practice. He has expanded his legal practice to include Personal Injury cases and Federal Criminal cases (the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida).

He has practiced in Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Hernando, Sarasota, Citrus and Polk counties. His cases have included all manner of misdemeanors including (but not limited to): D.U.I.’s, driving without a license, domestic abuse; and all varieties of felonies including (but not limited to): Sale and Possession of Controlled Substances, Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Trafficking in Controlled Substances, Armed Robbery, and Burglary.

Jorge is admitted to practice before all Circuit Courts in the State of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
